Scentsy Story
It all started when my mother was diagnosed with cancer. I was trying to find fun things to do with her on the weekends, just to take her mind of off radiation and Chemo. First we went to all the local garage sales. With the weather change, we needed to find other things to do that would not put her in stress, or germ areas. It turned in to home parties. We would have a home party once a month. We had parties like Premier Design, Tastefully Simple, and Scentsy. She had a blast. I would pick her up, feed her snacks, and she got all the host rewards and free stuff from all the companies. Mom loved her Jewelry lady from premier design, and Tastefully Simple became Sinfully Tasteful. Scentsy was a new home party we started to have and of course she loved every scent out there. Mom was the best client; she always bought something, and was the sales rep personal cheerleader. Telling the clients if the jewelry matched their eyes, or you have to try this beer bread, and even telling guests that this scentsy wax smelled like their perfume. Everyone loved her, and everyone wanted to come to party when mom was showing up. Sadly Mom lost her battle with cancer December 23rd, 2011. I was lost, and did not have my party buddy anymore. I then needed something to keep my mind and hands busy. I looked in to a lot of direct sales, and scentsy gave me everything I wanted, low quota’s a product I was in love with, and a direct website. It was then that I joined Scentsy.
Since I joined Scentsy in 2012, This has been one amazing ride, the people I have met, and became friends with have shown me there really are good people out there. For me, Scentsy has changed my life. Every sale I make, reminds me of mom. Every order that is placed I can hear my mom saying oh that’s a good one, and every party I do at home, a seat is reserved for mom. I miss her terribly, but I know my Mom is now my personal cheerleader and is at all of my parties, sitting there cheering for me. So come and experience Scentsy with me.
